This Dragonfire Phat Hot Duo Rails loaded guard uses a Phat Screamer bridge humbucker to pair with our Duo Rails. This set-up is excellent for crisp, clean modern tone with power, articulation and great range of performance featuring the stand-out capabilities of our 4-wire Duo Rails for humbucker play from your standard single coil Strat slot.

For switching, we offer your choice of switch control types so you can personalize your play and functionality. 5-Way Switching gives you full bridge n P1, full bridge and full middle combined in P2, full middle in P3, full middle & full neck combined in P4, and full neck in P5. If you elect to add 7-Way Switching as an optional upgrade, you add alternate additional selections of full bridge, full middle & full neck combined in alternate P4 position as well as full bridge and full neck combined in alternate P5 position. Or, choose to go with 2-way or 3-way mini switch controls to operate all three of the pickups in this loaded guard independently with three mini switch controls.

This build is available in many colors/styles with a variety of personalization and upgrade options. Your selections and any addition of effects or upgrades will determine ultimate layout and functionality and may necessitate substitution of component styles depending on options chosen at our discretion. For standard installation, all you do is solder the included wires to your input jack and bridge ground, and you're ready to go! Red is hot and is soldered to the tip of your jack. If you select a jack, this will be pre-done for you so you’ll unsolder, feed the wires through your channel, and resolder. Jacks work with standard cables only and jack sockets accept standard ¼” plugs. Both blacks are grounds. One is soldered to the jack sleeve and the other is grounded to your trem/bridge. If your selections require alternate installation, we'll include additional instructions if needed.
