ITEM DESCRIPTION
The QDD is an on-board Quad Distortion Driver Unit with 5 settings and an adjustable gain box so you can dial in your sound just the way you want it. This unit also features a trim pot for personalization of your gain usage. You can use this unit by itself or with other effects on the same battery.

*Position 1 - Clean Bypass - like the unit is not there at all.
*Position 2 - Boost your signal giving you a little more gain.
*Position 3 - A light tube-like overdrive, perfect for blues.
*Position 4 - Good solid distortion, not over the top, just right for Classic Rock.
*Position 5 - Full on METAL - great for high gain Metal - both old and new!

This on board effect active circuit control for passive or active pickups replaces one of your existing tone pots. It uses a long-shaft, body mount, rotary style engagement control pot. It features a split shaft that will work with most coarse knurled, 18-spline style knobs. This pot style allows you to bypass the unit in Position 1. An optional add-on Stereo Style Jack can be wired to break your circuit, disconnecting your battery signal thus helping reduce drainage and improve battery life. If you are going through a guard, you may need additional nuts or lock washers (sold separately). If needed, simply use the drop-down selection box to add extra nuts and washers.
